Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Bwayindx LLC ("Broadway Index," "we") collects through bwayindx.com and pro.bwayindx.com, how we use it, and your choices. We do not sell your personal information for money.

How we use it
- to provide the Service, verify eligibility for plans and manage your account
- to bill subscriptions and send receipts and invoices
- to send service messages and, if you subscribe, the Broadway Index Weekly (unsubscribe anytime)
- to secure the Service, prevent abuse and enforce our terms
- to understand and improve how the Service is used
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run the Service for us, under contracts that limit their use of your data: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and our email provider. We also share usage data, and for ad measurement a hashed (scrambled) email address, with Google for analytics and Meta for advertising. Some state laws treat this as "sharing" for targeted advertising; you can opt out as described below. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply. For licensed organizational accounts, your organization's administrator can see that you have access.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the Service. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These set cookies or similar identifiers, and Meta may use the data to show you our ads. You can block them in your browser, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.
Retention
We keep account information while your account is open and for up to 24 months after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details at any time, and ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by writing to support@bwayindx.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor them as required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To opt out of targeted advertising, email us or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is for professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
